We are building a new station!
The Carroll Manor Fire Company, your local fire company, is asking for your financial support. Your support is CRITICAL to the continued operation of our fire stations. Frederick County does NOT provide full funding for the Fire Company.
Your contribution is an investment in the firefighters and emergency medical technicians who provide emergency response to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. While the county provides tax dollars toward the purchase of apparatus and some equipment, the cost of additional equipment, along with building maintenance and operations falls solely on the Fire Company. Costs continue to escalate and available volunteer time for fund raising continues to diminish as training and duty requirements increase.
The Butz family has graciously donated 10
acres of property for us to build on at the intersection of Adamstown Rd and
Rt 85. This will be your Community Fire
Station! The personnel servicing you and raising the funds to operate
are your friends and neighbors.
As a non-profit fire department we rely on your donations for the
equipment needed to provide the level of service and coverage our community
needs and deserves.
