7/24/06 - Townhouse Fire in Brunswick
    On Monday afternoon July 24th 2006, Box alarm 05-01 was struck for the house fire with reported people trapped at 1040 Orndorff Court. While enroute A198 advised that they were approaching the scene and had heavy smoke in the area, communications then informed them they had a report of possibly 3 townhouse units off and were striking the second alarm along with the safety dispatch. A198 arrived on scene with 3 units involved with fire through the roof and citizens advising of an occupant trapped in one of the addresses. With only a water can, the crew from A198 and M20 attempted to make entry and start a primary search, however were back out shortly after due to diminishing conditions inside. E52 arrived a stretched multiple lines into each townhouse with the help of E201’s and ET284’s crews. Later in the incident command requested the third alarm due to extreme weather conditions and advised them to stage and be used as needed. Crews operated for approximately 5 hours before clearing. All searches proved to be negative. Hope to have pictures soon.
