An unattended fire in the woodstove appears to have caused the destruction of a house while the occupants were away. Quint 14's ladder was utilized to suppress the fire from above while Rescue Squad 14 assisted by boosting water pressure in the hoses supplying the firefighters at the house. A149 was on scene staging as part of the safety task force.

    On Monday July 24th, 2006 Box alarm 05-01 was struck for a house fire with people trapped. While en-route A198 advised that they were approaching the scene with heavy smoke in the area. A198 arrived on scene with 3 units involved with fire through the roof and citizens advising of one trapped. E52 arrived a layed lines into each townhouse with the help of E201’s and ET284’s crews. Q14 set up to the rear of the structure to provide access to the roofs for the fire fighters.
